Privacy & Data

What we handle,
what we don't

We believe in being upfront about exactly what data touches our servers. Here's the full picture.

The short version

Never touches our servers

  • • Your source code
  • • Your files and project data
  • • Your local AI conversation history
  • • Anything on your filesystem

Goes through our servers

  • • Phone call audio
  • • Voice transcriptions
  • • AI-generated speech
  • • Your phone number

How the data flows

When you use CallingYou (placeholder), here's what happens:

  1. Your coding agent runs locally on your machine. It reads and writes files, runs commands, and does all its work in your terminal. This never touches our servers.
  2. When it needs to call you, your agent sends a request to our API with a message (what it wants to tell you). This message is text only—no code attached.
  3. We initiate a phone call to your verified phone number using Twilio. The agent's message is converted to speech.
  4. You speak your response into the phone. Your voice audio is transmitted through the phone network and our servers.
  5. Twilio transcribes your voice to text. This transcription is sent back to your local agent.
  6. Your agent receives the text and continues working locally based on your instructions.

What we store

Account information

Your email address, phone number, and subscription status. Standard stuff for any SaaS.

Usage metrics

Call counts and timestamps for billing purposes. We track how many calls you make, not what you say.

Call content

Twilio handles your call audio and transcribes it to text. We relay that text to your agent in real-time. We don't record calls or store transcripts.

What we never see

Your coding agent runs entirely on your machine. We have no access to:

  • Your source code. Files stay on your machine. We can't read them.
  • Your AI's conversation context. The full chat history between you and your agent stays local.
  • Commands the agent runs. File edits, git operations, shell commands—all local.
  • Your filesystem. We have zero access to your computer.

Third-party services

We use the following services:

  • Twilio — Handles phone calls, voice transmission, transcription, and phone number verification. We have not enabled Twilio's optional data logging for AI training—your call data is not used to train AI models.
  • Stripe — Processes payments. We never see your full card number.

Your choices

  • Delete your account anytime from the dashboard. We'll remove your data.
  • Export your data by contacting support.
  • Revoke API keys instantly from your dashboard.
